MLB 2012 @ 1 unit per play = +51.23 Net Units
6.11.2013, 0-2, -10 Units, -100% ROI
YTD – 129-137-26, +33.68 Units, +2.55% ROI
5 & 9 Innings – ALWAYS Specify Pitchers – NO action plays
All plays are 5 Units Flat, unless otherwise noted
Today’s comment: Jumped from the refrigerator to the freezer last night. Cold is one thing, frozen solid is another. Hope springs eternal.
Angels F5 (+103) FG (+115) (Williams / Hammel)
Hard to believe Jerome Williams has finally learned to pitch at the major league level but it is true. He has scored five straight quality starts in my ratings and Hammel has scored only two in his last eight. Slightly better offensive numbers for the Angels to. The dog barks.
Be back later but this one goes early and the line is dropping.

I may or may not have a pick on this game, side or total, but what I do promise is the blog of the year, maybe the decade, maybe the century, but who knows? None of us will be around at the end of the century to cast votes so we will have to lave that to future generations. It certainly is the pitchers duel of the year and occurs in a pitchers park. No matter what is posted on MLB.com, ESPN, or any other outlet tonight; no matter what all the highlight shows have to broadcast, there can be no other hero than Corbin or Ryu.

Love it. I'm following you on this. Trout has homered in each game of this series already. Jerome allowed 2 HRs in his first match-up vs. BAL, but he has been on a roll ever since. I think he will be more careful with his pitch location this time around.

When the flyballs go out easilly...just watch...I live here...at 900 am..the humidity was...
Well buddy, you know I respect both you and your opinion, but Williams is even more of a ground ball pitcher than Hammel lately, and an 8 mph breeze from left to right is hardly enough to evaporate the sweat from your forehead, so I gotta stick with it.

You aint worried about all these backups playing...Conger Shuck Hawpe etc
Substitutions are not always what they appear to be, and often are a better way to go. First thing to understand is that they don't go out on the street and find some guys that want to play. Every player in the major leagues got there the same way, HE EARNED IT. Secondly, some substitutions are not only for one players rest, some are strategic moves to get a better matchup at the plate. There was a guy here a year or two ago that would always post "NO HOWARD!' when the Phillies were facing a lefty. I don't think he ever caught on that Howard's days off were always planned for when the Phillies faced a lefty, because he couldn't, and still can't, hit them. All that glitters is not gold, and everything brown is not s**t.
