Decent Friday. Would have been even better had the Twins not blown a 6-run lead.

Anyhow, not much time to update and post today. My daughter has been in the hospital since Tuesday with pneumonia (three months after her younger sister was in the exact same place for the exact same thing). In other words, she's obviously my top priority. But I digress...

Thanks for all of the well wishes. She's been a real trooper. A little disappointed (we both are) that she's not going home today as there were promising signs that she would be.

At any rate, she's napping so I have some free time to place a bet against my Jays. I would love to think that Buehrle turns it around but I just don't think he's suited for the AL East. Line on the Sox is just way too high so I think I'll lay the 40 cents on the team total.
