well kenny i'll try to help ya. I used to when handicapping starting pitchers look at the batting average against that pitcher by the players on the opposing team. I found out that was as useful as teets on a bull. So now i look moreso at OBP and SLG against.
Look at how that team used their bullpen. Did they use up a lot of guys so the starter has to go 6 innings to "Save" the pen? I don't use trends anymore as they are as useful as teets on a bull
Money management is important kenny. I got off to a bad start i was down 3 grand so during that time i even lowered my max bet size.
Honestly kenny you have to find what works for you. BOL and hope you win![]()

im in no way a professional handicapper or even a good capper at that. but my belief on betting baseball is simply not laying too much juice. i will only let myself bet a favorite of -130 or lower. i normally will stick to small dogs and small favorites occasionally taking a chance with the huge dogs. cause if you think about it mathematically i think its if you simply only bet favorites youve gotta be right on those picks at about 56% to make a profit but if you only play dogs then youll only need to be correct about 46% or something like that.
example: you play 3 favorites at -200. you gotta win 2 out of 3 just to break even on the day. as opposed to you play 3 dogs at +200 you only need 1 game to come through to break even.

Pay no attention to these or any future responses. 90% of the "helpful hints" will be from losers and if you do what they do you will lose too. Find 5 to 7 truly reliable and honest handicappers on the board, read everything they write, and absorb it like a sponge. Do not get sucked into the first ten postings you see on the board, or the first half page, and think some consensus of buddies that all think the same way is a "strong opinion".
The good handicappers will not bring education to you, you have to go get it.
