Stepping out pretty big on the Brew Crew tonight and much of it is pitching matchup, but it is quite glaring
Over his last 10 starts at Miller Park, Marco Estrada is 4-0 with a 2.71 ERA and 1.03 WHIP. He has consistently pitched like a front like starter at home and I expect that carries through tonight. Opposing him on the mound is James McDonald who over his last 12 road starts is 4-4 with a 8.29 ERA and 2.05 WHIP. McDonald has been literally night and day at home vs on the road. To date this season, J Mc has navigated fairly well, but stats don't lie and I think his road woes are about to creep up on him tonight.
