I give the O's the edge in the final two gmes of this series. Maurer is certainly capable of pitching well, his last 3 starts are very good, and that includes 2 starts vs the division leading Rangers . . . So, I'm not licking my chops to back Baltimore at -105.
The Mariners offense has played better as of late, and much of that can be attributed to three things . . . No Ibanez in there vs LHP, Morse has healed somewhat from his finger inury, and Michael Saunders has returned to the lineup. In addition, Ackley appears to have turned a corner as well. Simply put, the lineup has fewer holes in it than it had last week. That doesnt mean they are a quality MLB lineup, but I do believe they have advanced from the "horrid stage"
