Whichever team wins tonight, wins the series.  If the Tigers win tonight, they could presumably get 2 more wins from Verlander's next two starts, granted one will be on 3 days rest.  And despite being roughed up, he can undoubtedly bounce back.  His pitch count was low by his standards (around 100), as he can easily throw in the 120s, and gets stronger the longer he goes.  Assuming they win his 2 starts, AND tonight, then that puts the series at 3-1 Detroit.  That means if Detroit can win either game 3 (first home game) or 5 (homestand finale), then yes, Detroit can win in 7 games.

If the Giants win tonight, then it's over.  Detroit will be probably be swept.  Or lose 4-2 at best.

I have Detroit -180 for the series and will just ride it out.. thanks and good luck.
