Yesterday the Dodgers screwed me out of a 2 to win 8 unit parlay that I had put together with the A's -RL. This was my 3rd losing day in a row, the first time that's happened since early July, so I have to watch where my picks are going. Lesson learned. Let's try Friday.
Rays @ Jays: After seeing the Rays drop G1 vs. the Jays, I am happy to take Hellickson and the Rays as a slight favorite against Morrow. Morrow has given up 12 runs in 11 IP vs. the Rays this year, and I don't think he's fully shaken off the DL rust. The Jays were happy enough to play spoiler yesterday. I don't see them beating the Rays again today, when they have nothing to play for.
Rays ML -112 3.36 / 3
2 teams: Rays TT O4 -120 / Pirates TT U4 -120 1.2706 / 3
White Sox @ Tigers: Going for some trend plays here, and there is a lot of them towards the Under. The White Sox looked terrible yesterday against the O's, but the Tigers didn't look much better against KC. Under is 8-1 in the Tigers last 9 overall. Under is 4-1-1 in the Pale Hose last 6 overall.
White Sox / Tigers U8.5 -125 3.75 / 3
Orioles @ Yankees: Under is 5-0 in Gonzalez's last 5 starts, and 5-0 in Kuroda's last 5 Home starts. Under is 17-4 in Kuroda's last 21 starts as a favorite.
Orioles / Yankees U9 -110 3.3 / 3
Rangers @ Indians: The Rangers are 12-3 in the last 15 meetings in Cleveland, and Jimenez is 1-5 in his last 6 starts.
Rangers -RL -105 3.15 / 3
Phillies @ Braves: Minor has pitched well against the Phillies, giving up 4 runs in 15 innings. Halladay has been rocked by the Braves, allowing 11 runs in 11.1 IP. Halladay has a 2.75 ERA since he last faced the Braves on 29 July, but the Braves are 50-30 vs. RHP, while the Phillies are 17-23 vs. LHP. The lines being equal, I'll take the Home team.
Braves ML -105 3.15 / 3
Braves TT O3.5 +110 3 / 3.3
Hot vs. Cold teams: Oakland has won 12 of it's last 14 games, Boston has lost 7 out of their last 9 road games. The Reds have won 4 of their last 5, and Houston is 1-9 in their last 10. The Mets have won 4 of their last 5, while Miami has dropped 5 of their last 7 games.
3 teams: Athletics ML -179 / Mets ML -154 / Reds ML -185 2.0268 / 6.0001
