#5 Posted: 8/30/2012 10:50:13 PM A lot of action involves pitchers on the above two lists. Make sure you do your homework on the CURRENT form of the starting pitchers and bullpens. I recommend last 30 days as the ideal sample size to measure and make this qualification. |

#9 Posted: 8/30/2012 11:23:45 PM I rate Karstens as better than Rogers on the season but in recent form the two have almost identical numbers. -120 would imply that the Brewers and Pirates are offensively identical - this is certainly not the case. I think Milwaukee has some line value, although I'm not inclined to take them yet for some reason. |

#10 Posted: 8/30/2012 11:27:43 PM Strong lean on the over in Kansas City. I will be watching the early line movement to see if sharp money has anything to say about it. |

#17 Posted: 8/31/2012 12:41:51 AM Tough to beat a team 4 in a row & twice at their house in same season. Dickey has been alternating W/L last several games & his team with him pitching has not won BB games since 7-12-12. Mets are 5-15 on Fridays. |

#19 Posted: 8/31/2012 1:21:30 AM Looks like there's some pretty good value on the Tigers tomorrow coming back home, possibly even @ -1 to reduce the juice. What say you?

#20 Posted: 8/31/2012 1:35:36 AM You're the man silly!
Your sheets seem to show value on Toronto, Detroit, St. Louis, NY Yankees, Mets, and Milwaukee, not to mention the over in both New York games.
I'm sure you have a reason for passing on most of these but this is the type of day your sheets usually help me hit one of those gravy 7 teamers
Yankees might be one of my favorite plays. After a sub par performance against the Jays, and now enter the hot Orioles with a (seemingly) good pitcher on the mound, the public won't be flocking to the ticket window to bet the house on the Bronx Bombers. That's exactly the time I usually like to place MY house on them.
Good luck on your plays

#23 Posted: 8/31/2012 3:09:48 AM Jaime Garcia is the #2 starting pitcher? Your numbers must not have included tonight. Surely there are better pitchers the last 30 days. 8/25 - Pitched only 6 innings and gave up 4 runs with a WHIP of 1.5. Tonight (8/30) - Pitched 5.1 innings giving up 6 runs with a WHIP of almost 2.

#25 Posted: 8/31/2012 8:17:11 AM I really like the Rockies tonight. They handle lefties as shown by being ranked 5th on your list and their park is also a strong advantage. White has actually pitched better over his last few starts despite only going 4 innings as shown by the leap from 169 to 134.
