Futures:

Notes:
-August continues to pummel me, got two bad numbers and one fortunately was postponed
-Mets can't hit, but the Astros didn't do much on Hefner until the 9th when Gonzalez knocked in Altuve and then took the scaredy-cat route and tried to slide instead of knocking Shoppach over. Even if he's out there, a big enough collision gets the runner to 3B with 1-out but neither happened. The best Houston reliever fell behind 2-0 and let the only true power threat in the lineup win the game
-First home series win for the Mets in I think two months (lol), but they are still on the fade list even as they head out on the road for a while where they will be big dogs every time out

...also very surprised to see the Rays favored in Arlington, but obviously it makes sense with how good Price has been and Holland's struggles

Think I'm laying off today, nothing seems to be working out and I don't think I can play u7 in Petco tonight based on a starter I have no clue about besides his name. Kelly has went down in prospect ratings to start three consecutive seasons so that's not good either...

Going to work on tomorrow...

add
Tampa Bay-Texas OVER 9 (-115)
-Don't love the weather in Arlington as the wind is an odd one probably due to the storm in the area, but the air is heavy and I expect the ball to fly. Both pitcher could throw a gem, especially because the Rays haven't seen Yu before, but Brian Knight has a small zone and will favor the hitter. David Price got smacked around last night and it wasn't because he was throwing meatballs and they were hitting 97 mph. The bullpens are obviously good but a rough start by either guy or a 4-4 game gets me a push in the best hitter's park in the game.
