Got kicked in the gut yesterday at 2-8. -30 units, but it wasn’t the
groin so I will get over it. Most surprising was that I got off to a decent
start in all four of the 5 & 9 losers, but everything managed to turn to
shit on or about the fifth inning. Today’s card is a slippery eel or greased
pig in my opinion. The matchup numbers and probability are all over the spectrum
and if the “on any given day” philosophy was looking for a time to happen this
may be it. I am going to work on this awhile and pay close attention to line
movement, so I probably won’t have anything until about an hour before
Strasburg or Scherzer throws the first pitch.

I guess the "slippery eel" indicates you are not too certain about a bounce back day today. I lost my ass yesterday and risking a shot with DET. The numbers and situation all point to DET and the line certainly reflects it but no one ever knows in baseball. What exactly is an indicator of the so-called "slippery eel?" Rather, what does it mean when the numbers are "over the spectrum?"

Yeh I only liked 4 of yours, lucky 2 of them were the overs,KC I thought was a decent bet after TB beatdown of the Angels, but they might be the team to ride rest of season.
Kj my guess is the eel thing is the lines are just alot of traps waiting for us to fall on them. the spectrum thing is Key talk, could mean anything,
