Captain Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 7531 Location: California	#1 Posted: 7/21/2012 3:11:38 PM for those of you who got a chance to watch the braves today and ben sheets, pitch by pitch, i had the braves -0.5 first 5 innings at +145 which cashed, but my conclusion is that i was very lucky. sheets was getting behind in the count way too much, and seems to have gotten very lucky with the nats swinging at bad pitches, and the fact that sheets got some very lucky double play balls. The nats are definitely not a good hitting team and bryce harper even came out of the game after bunting a pitch off his foot. if you look in the box score, it looks really good with sheets but do you really think he's that good? if you say yes, i might believe you otherwise i think i am waiting to bet against ben sheets next week especially if he's facing a very good lineup.

There's a reason why he got him. He put the fastball where it needed to be. Luck is hanging curveballs all day and no one doing a damn thing with them.
