Well the first day back posting didn't go so well Friday. The Yanks laid an egg, and after Cargo hitting a salami somehow the Padres still lead after 5? WTF is that?
Anyways...lotta plays to like on Saturday. Just posting the afternoon games for now and will get to the night games later.
Saturday's Card:
Dodgers ML 3 to win 2.45
Capuano has pitched well this season posting an opponents OBP of .298. He has solid K/B ratio and really only has to beat two hitters tomorrow to win - Donald Murphy and David Wright. Meanwhile the Dodgers will face Miguel Batista. Poet, philosopher, and washed up pitcher. This is his first start of the season, which he obviously earned after putting up an opponents OBP of .379 out of the pen. Yes, you read that right...38% of hitters reach vs Batista this year.
Rangers ML 1.5 to win 1.24
I'm a little concerned about Hamilton's lack of production of late and of the Trout Factor, but at the end of the day this is a big play against Santana. Oddly enough, his opp OBP is slightly better than Darvish's since Yu has been walking 3-4 a game at least. However, the Halos were overpowered by Scherzer and I expect Darvish to do the same. He's only given up 10 HR this season, while Santana has served up 20.
BOL to all
Leans on the night games:
- Twins, Yankees, Cardinals
