FrenchArtist - its what I am risking unit wise to win.  The team is favored so for every 1 unit I want to win I have to risk 1.48.  Muttiply that by the 3 I want to win and it costs me 4.44.  4.44 to win 3.

FrenchArtist - Yes.  If the line next to the team I like is -148.  I have to risk $1.48 to win $1 as an example.  So if I want to win $3.  I have to risk $4.44.  They are the favored team.  The other team they are playing is the underdog thus you can win plus money if you take them.  So you could risk $1 to win $1.34 or so.
