Ok So I've had a horrible weak, with upsets that totally killed me. I'm down 6 grand. And I'm putting my last 2 grand on a parlay with Yankees and Phillies to win tonight.

Risking 2000 to win 8000. 


Do I even stand a chance tonight??

If you've gotten killed by "upsets," maybe it's worth adopting an approach that allows you to bet on some underdogs. Laying large juice typically does get you killed, so this might not just be a one-time deal.

Also, parlays will usually put you deeper in the hole. Cut your bet amount down and try to get it back gradually.

Sure you have a chance. Nova is the Yanks' 2nd best pitcher and Halladay can win anytime he steps in the field. But why not just do $500 to win $2,000? Why go for broke on a parlay?

Where are you getting the kinds of odds to parlay those 2 games to get 4 to 1 in return? Even if you take -1 on 5dimes for both it's not even 3 to 1. Not doubting you but would love to get in at those odds.

i wouldn't bet Halladay or the Phillies, he has lost his last few starts hasn't he? no run  support and don't see Braves losing again at home today, Iove the Yanks pick but should have combined it with th Angels or or Reds.

I dont like it. Trying to win 2 when you cant win 1 is a prayer. I say settle down and try to win 1 at a time. 

plus any pitcher can have a bad night at pathetic yankee stadium and balt is better this year. so this game would scare me the most.

yea you guys are right, I'm actually doing -1.5 for both yanks and phillies.. I just put the bet in, so lets see how it goes.. if they lose, I'm done with gambling..I think im turning into a degenerate.
