Yesterday's Results: 5-4 -0.49 Units
Wednesday's Card:
Brewers ML 3 to win 1.93
Suppan...really??? The Padres are sending Suppan, the guy who wasn't good enough to pitch for the ROYALS last season, to the mound to support one of the league's worst offenses? The guy was getting rocked in AAA. Gallardo has also given up just 4 runs in 22 innings this season vs everyone other than St. Louis. It's pretty sad for the Padres when they have nobody in the minors they'd like to give a shot over Suppan.
Phillies/Braves No Runs in 1st 3 to win 2
Halladay vs Hanson...two pitchers who can bring it. Apart from Bourn's speed, you don't get a much better 1st inning pitching matchup than this.
Diamondbacks/Nationals No Runs in 1st 2.8 to win 2
Saunders is not the type of guy I like to make 1st inning bets on, but the Nats without Zimmerman will continue to struggle to score. Saunders is using more of his 2 seamer this season which has upped his GB% which could help him get a crucial DP ball if needed. Jackson has the stuff I like to bet on 1st inning and is striking out a batter per IP.
Juicy...yes, but I really like this card and would be shocked if at least 2 of these didn't hit for a positive day.
BOL to all tonight

Cash two already! Even if the Brewers lose I'm up 1 unit for the day. If they win, I'm up 5.93. Can't believe Suppan is pitching well.

I don't usually like to play this on St. Louis with the bats they have at the top of the order, but...Pittsburgh with no McCutchen tonight means that half the inning is pretty much in the bag. A quick overview shows that the Cards, in the past 8 games or so, have only scored in the 1st inning once. I'm not THAT confident in it, but I am going to play it.
Pirates/Cardinals No Runs in 1st 2 to win 1.7

#12 Posted: 5/2/2012 8:27:03 PM And that's why I usually make it a rule to not make this bet with the Cards. The Pirates lineup was so bad I thought I could get by with it. Won't be doing this with the Cards again.

#14 Posted: 5/2/2012 8:42:31 PM Don't like Zito, but the Fish are hitting below .200 vs lefties and the Giants are likely resting Posey. Could be a play here but will wait for lineups to be posted.

#17 Posted: 5/2/2012 9:32:27 PM The top 3 Marlins hitters all hitting under .200 vs lefties this season. Giants with no Posey to hit 4th.
