#5 Posted: 4/25/2012 8:14:38 PM He should not have left the Cards. It's that simple. He does start slow sometimes but a lot of new pitchers all the pressure to perform is on him, he could have several shitty seasons as a Card and they would still love him He had to move family so you know that's tough He has several charities in the St Louis area that still need attention Since 2006 Angels have hit just 46 percent of their home runs at home. Is there any player that is worth $104,040,436 over their career or Its early in the season but the Angels look like dogshit Maybe he is just asking himself what have I done |

#8 Posted: 4/25/2012 8:18:59 PM It's one of three things:
1. He got paid, and no doesn't care as much. This would make sense as his Ks are up. It's not like a good eye just goes away. But, he does strike me as the kind of player who wants to be the best; so this may be unlikely
2. He doesn't know the AL pitchers as well as the NL pitchers. I don't buy this. A good hitter is a good hitter.
3. Nothing is wrong. And he's just off to an early slump. Most likely this is the reason. |

#11 Posted: 4/25/2012 8:29:08 PM He doesn't care much? Now, that is 10000% bullshit^^^^^^^
Listen, he cares too much! He still is talkin about St. Louis. He wants to prove them wrong for not opening the wallet even more. He was shocked that the St. Louis fans didnt riot and boycott the Cardinals front office. He was shocked about the hate on talk radio and blogs when he took the money and ran. People that have been around agree, Albert is the most sensitive and egotistical (not always in the bad way) superstar in the game. |

#12 Posted: 4/25/2012 8:30:34 PM spent a ton on cj wilson too. with yanks, rays, tigers, and rangers, looking good for a playoff spot, that means the angels are fighting for the last spot. dont think they wont get there, something is wrong with them. |

#14 Posted: 4/25/2012 8:38:49 PM Even the most pure man in the game gets a little tickled signing a quarter billion dollar contract. Impossible not to lose a little focus. Had to tell the city he didn't want to be on billboards everywhere and stuff, he'll get it together.
Kruk did a great breakdown of how his mechanics are slightly off on baseball tonight. One thing we know is he will figure it out, he's too good not to. |
