#2 Posted: 4/5/2012 12:56:11 PM I have this CRAZY CRAZY feeling that the pirates will win today...Their offense last year turned "mediocre" I think this year, we will see a potent pirates offense... |

#10 Posted: 4/7/2012 2:00:37 PM MINNESOTA @ BALTIMORE
7:05 PM START
LIRIANO/HUNTER STARTERS
We have the Twins who looked terrible with the bats yesterday vs Arrieta and face T. Hunter today. Orioles were in control until the late home run added some interest to the game. Today's matchup is a lefty/right combo. It's interesting matchup here as it's a night game with expected weather to be in the 50's with wind being a non factor.
The Orioles expected average against Liriano will be around .300
The Twins expected average against Hunter will be around .260.
Neither two impressive averages against however the Orioles have had some slight success against Liriano in limited at bats.
UMPIRE: JEFF NELSON. Mr. Nelson has umpired one game this year with a 4-1 score. Mr. Nelson over the past 3 seasons has had a 59.5% on the over on Grass. Mr. Nelson is 56% in this time period. With RH vs LH his over rate is 59% as well.
Liriano has been a much better pitcher as the year has gone on. His SO/BB ratio in APRIL/March is much lower than any other month by .50 which is significant. He owns a 5-11 record with an ERA over 5 and tends to be wild.
Hunter has pitched one game this early and holds a 5 ERA.
WALL STREET PLAY: OVER 9 +105 MEDIUM PLAY |

#18 Posted: 4/8/2012 7:20:00 PM Updated Record and Units
(5-6 -2 Units ) 3-1 hitting both LARGE PLAYS TODAY
Medium Play: Texas RL +120
Tonight's action pits Gavin Floyd vs Matt Harrison. The Rangers are 1-1 on homestand with a tough loss last night. Gavin Floyd has been a consistent good pitcher with a team that hasn't given him to much support. I don't expect anything different tonight. Gavin hasn't started off strong throughout the years as his toughest Month has been April. His average against the Rangers is .305 for this game. Hamilton has really controlled him batting a whopping .600..Even grade with Napoli out as Torrealba is 3 for 5 vs Floyd. Murphy on every ball.
Harrison isn't anything special vs White Sox but so far has held them to a 7-38 appearance at the plate for a .184 average while never facing 3 batters. I think at the beginning of the year pitchers have an edge. I expect Harrison to go after hitters except for Rios who has hit him well.
Line has fluctuated all day but still remains in the mid 60's for the home team. The umpire over the past 3 season has hit over 55 % on the over favoring the better hitting team in my opinion. Wegner is even better with RH and LH starters hitting at a 59% Over.
I've also played some money on the over and like the team total over 4.5 but the 135 juice has limited my amount on the Rangers.
Weather: Wind isn't a huge factor but rain may be as it's a high percentage of rain. Getting to bullpen early would be even better.
Recommended Plays: Texas RL +120, Over 4.5 runs and ML parlayed with Oakland tomorrow. |
