#1 Posted: 2/21/2012 9:30:39 PM don't be fool, ive seen him at bp and he can crush the ball.
how many homers you think he'll get?
i'm going out on a limb and say he hits as many homers as fielder.

#4 Posted: 2/21/2012 11:52:29 PM Ichiro is declining and he was never a power hitter. I'd put Montero or Ackley in the 3 hole but it looks like wedge is going with his best hitter in the 3 hole. Either way they better start scoring runs ASAP |

#6 Posted: 2/22/2012 2:54:08 PM As in Prince Fielder? Well in any case, I say he hits 13. Hell most MLB players can crush a ball in batting practice

#9 Posted: 2/23/2012 5:12:22 PM if he sees 500 AB in the 3 hole i'd say 14-19.
i just think ackley will be the #3 guy when its june or july. so i think ichiro will hit less than 10 |

#11 Posted: 2/23/2012 5:28:34 PM At anyone who thinks a 39 year old twig is going to hit double digit home runs because a move in the order. Fact of the matter is this guy have been so valuable over the years because of his extremely high on base percentage (which was almost below 300 last year which is BRUTAL) and ability to steal bases. If he does try to jack the ball more all his %'s will go down along with his average and wont steal as much with bases clogged in front of him. Dont think it will last at all. |

#13 Posted: 2/24/2012 1:11:17 PM A 3RD BAT IS MUCH A HITTER THAN A HOMER. THE 4TH BAT IS THE HOMER FOR NATURE. THE 1ST BAT TRIES TO GET TO FIRST BASE DOING WHATEVER TO REACH IT SO THE 2ND BAT MOVES HIM TO SECOND BY A BUNT OR A GROUND BALL SO THE 3RD BAT COMES OUT WITH THE HIT TO PULL IT TO THE HOME PLATE. THAT´S THE OLD SCHOOL BASEBALL THAT MIGHT BE USING SEATTLE DUE TO THE POOR TALENTED ROSTER. |

#20 Posted: 2/25/2012 11:31:15 AM They are planning/hoping that chone figgins gets back to his angel days when he hit .320 with 20 plus sb's,and that will propell ichiro to become more of an rbi/hr guy.I don't think it will last, but this is their plan.GL if you think ichiro will hit more homers than prince.I'll take your money on that bet! |
