I TOOK THE ST LOUIS CARDS +150 TO WIN THE NL CENTRAL AT THE HILTON ON MONDAY

300 TO WIN 450

DET WAS -300 TO WIN AL CENTRAL

BOL TO ALL   CANT WAIT FOR SEASON TO START

ALSO TOOK KENT[4 TO1] AND SYR[9 TO 2]TO WIN NCAA BB

Take PHL to win WS. They are going to walk through the NL playoffs. There arent any powers that can beat them. Then hedge bet in WS with whoever they are playing. Win/Win

I don't know how you can say that. It isn't always the best team that wins the world serie. It is the team that has great pitching, great defense, and timely hitting. The team that is hot at the right time. Hence: Cardinals and Giants.

Yup, PHL pitching staff is Halladay, Lee, Hamels, Worley. Best staff in the NL. I get what you are saying about getting hot at the right time but we are talking about a futures bet. Best bet is PHL. Competition in the AL is too strong. Anyone can come out of that. PHL has best chance at coming out of NL.

They had the best staff last year as well...what has changed?

A couple of wins away. Just saying they have an easier road than anyone that you could pick in the AL. A full season of Pence is an upgrade over Ibanez, Papelbon settles the closer position.

I'm not trying to bash you or anything but I don't agree at all with what you said. Pence is an upgrade over Ibanez? Okay...Pence was in the playoffs last year, right? The Phillies are like the Yankees now in some ways. They won 102 games in the regular season...so that is regardless. They had home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. Papelbon settles the closer position? The Phillies didn't blow a save at all in the series against the Cardinals.
