guys i was watching a show on one of the sports channels i get with my sports package and they had a guy on the show who wrote a column for cbssports.com about the worst contracts in baseball position by position. I'm tired of listening to super bowl hype so i created my own. My Team consists of position players,DH's 1 relief pitcher and 5 starters so here's my all bad contract team
C Joe Mauer lot of money and been hurt a lot
1B Ryan Howard 25 miilion a year for a 250 hitting 1B in the N.L.
2B Dan Uggla see 1st half of last season
SS Jose Reyes It might be controversial but i don't believe in giving long term big money contracts to speed based players. He Has very littile power. He's 1 knee injury away from being an albatross
3B Aramis Ramirez The ultimate numbers gatherer. GL Brewers fans if Braun's gone 50 games and he has to carry you
LF Vernon Wells That's all i have to say about that
CF Grady Sizemore Another one most won't agree with but he has brittle knees and the Indians believe he can get back to being Grady Sizemore. There's a reason nobody else wanted to give him a full time CF job
RF Ichiro Suzuki Declining singles and doubles hitter not worth the time anymore
DH Adam Dunn I shouldn't have to explain that
Relief pitcher Jonathan Papelbon 4 YEARS FOR PAPELBON
He might have a good 1st 2 years of the deal but YIKES. Not much of an upgrade over Madson

2. Barry Zito Do i have to explain

4. Carlos Zambrano the ultimate mental midget
5. Johan Santana hurt past year plus a lot of money+ crap team =albatross
