Heard there are people jumping from windows in St. Louishaha what a kick in the nutS to Cards nation. This guy was your savior, the guy that would never leave, the one who always said I will always be a Cardinal...... WELL HE IS GONE!!!!

I'd say good riddance if I was a Cards fan.  Now they have 200 million to spend on other resources.  Defending World Series Champs.  What a bummer.

By the way, the only thing a Cubs fan has the right to do is keep their mouth shut.

Most celebrating Cub fans have done past October since 1908.  Like previous guy said, now we have that money to go get a younger hitter and another pitcher.  Maybe even Prince and you guys will STILL suck at 1B.  We dont overpay for contracts like the Cubs and Soriano...and on and on and on.  Plus we get Wainright back!!

Dude I'm pissed as hell that he left, but to knock him for anything perfornance related over the past 11 years is crazy. He is the best hitter in our team's history. He has always been clutch.
