Let me begin by saying that the Suicide Run to $10,000 is no longer "on." I was within $3,000 and went 1 - 3 last Saturday to derail my winning streak.
Makes me realize that you can't force a win. The harder you try, the more bad bets you will make. I knew that. So, I'm back to just waiting for something on the card to jump out at me. Good plays will come to you if you are patient.
Today's good plays are:
Mets at St. Louis - 170
Texas - 130 at Oakland
In both cases I'm on the better hiting team with some motivation to play for the playoffs. I like the pitching matchups as well. Oakland's Harden is a good pitcher, but erratic. He didn't do well last time he faced Texas, and he's been pitching only about 5 innings per start.
The Mets are just a bad team with nothing left to play for. St. Louis finally got their act together, and have been playing for a playoff berth.
Good luck, whatever you decide to do.

The lines on both games are higher now at my book, but my book always hikes the lines on favorites. I like these two even if you add .10 to .15 cents to the line.
