What happened to taking your money and running? Oh thats right, you can't stand to not have attention on yourself.
Hey, who's the new chick in your avatar? ![]()

If Pitt beats the Chicago Cubs, I dont think that automatically qualifies as a season definer.
I agree with King Scorp, hitting is important.
Pirates are hitting (243) I am not sure RyanLudwick (238) or Derrick Lee (246) will raise that number.
Sad, because I like Ludwick and Lee and the Pirates, and I like
Clint Hurdle. I would love to make a lot of money betting the Pirates. this might be the time.

It seems whenever teams make Cinderella runs like this - they are often in bad divisions and end up falling back down to Earth. However, I think if there's one division this year where the Pirates can continue their impressive run, it's the NL Central. Even after the trade deadline, the Pirates may have arguably done more than any other team in the division to bolster their run for the division title.
Houston of course had a fire-sale.
Chicago got rid of Kosuke and now have to face Derrek Lee this week.
Cincinnati didn't do anything.
St. Louis added Edwin Jackson to their rotation, allowing McClellan to head to the bullpen, but lost a five-tool, potential superstar go in Colby Rasmus.
And Milwaukee gets two journeymen in Felipe Lopez and Jerry Hairston.
Add the momentum and league backing to the Pirates acquisitions, and I think you have the makings for a great run in the last couple of months.
