-Chicago White Sox SP Edwin Jackson is 8-1 with a 2.70 ERA in 13 games (12 starts) lifetime against the Cleveland Indians
-Los Angeles Angels SP  Joel Pineiro is making his 11th career appearance (10th start) versus Baltimore, posting a 3-4 record and 5.27 ERA
-Chicago Cubs SP Randy Wells is 2-3 with a 3.11 ERA in six career starts against the Astros, but has dropped his last three outings against them.  He is 2-1 with a 1.35 ERA in four starts versus Houston at Wrigley Field
-Cleveland Indians SP David Huff is 2-0 with a 8.04 ERA in three career starts versus the White Sox, but did not face them last year
-Oakland Athletics SP Rich Harden is 1-3 with a 5.10 ERA in nine career appearances (seven starts) versus the Yankees.  He faced them twice last year, going 0-1 with a 10.38 ERA
-Florida Marlins SP Clay Hensley owns a 2-1 career record and 4.41 ERA against the Mets as a starter
-Cincinnati Reds SP Homer Bailey is 1-3 with a 4.62 ERA in four starts since returning from the DL.  He will be making his first career appearance against the Braves
-Colorado Rockies SP Jason Hammel has quality starts in each of his two starts against the Diamondbacks this season and hasn’t allowed an earned run against them since 5/27/10 at Coors Field
-Seattle Mariners SP Blake Beavan went 4-2 wit ha 2.93 ERA over his last seven starts for Triple-A Tacoma.
-Houston Astros SP Wandy Rodriguez is 0-2 with a 7.41 ERA in three July starts.  He was 1-0 with a 3.60 ERA in his three starts against the Cubs in 2010
-Los Angeles Dodgers SP Ted Lilly is 4-3 with a 2.49 ERA and .207 opponents batting average in eight career starts versus the Expos/Nationals franchise
-Tampa Bay Rays SP Jeff Niemann is 5-1 with a 2.40 ERA in his last seven starts.  He will be making his fourth career start (fifth appearance) versus the Royals, posting a 3-0 record and 0.71 ERA
-Kansas City SP Jeff Francis is 2-5 with a 3.38 ERA at home this season, making eight quality starts in 10 outings
-Texas Rangers SP Matt Harrison is 0-1 with a 13.50 ERA in three career appearances versus the Toronto Blue Jays
-In 10 career games (nine starts) versus the Marlins, New York Mets SP Chris Capuano is 4-3 with a 3.36 ERA
-Milwaukee Brewers SP Randy Wolf is 9-5 with a 2.77 ERA in 19 career starts against the Giants
