don't have much time for posting for the time being, so we're just going to keep an ongoing thread of one side and one total per day (given there's the board and quality plays for it). record will be recorded throughout this thread as we're going to use it to monitor our targeted goal of 60%. going to be including four key stats and/or trends under the picks as to why they appealed to us and will also be recapping each day with an updated record and a few thoughts about what went on. each play will be to win two units and that will never change.
note -- we will be including a third play each day for pucku27's contest at the bottom of our post. our two official plays will always be default submitted and you can consider our third play as a lean or a value play. his contest can be found here.

8:10pm: kansas city royals OVER 9 +115
» while losing four straight starts for the royals, davies has allowed opposing batters to hit .335 off him this season and gave up eight runs while failing to get out of the 4th in his last outing against cleveland
