Britton will shut down the Yankees. Kid is a stud. Watch the next John Lester/David Price type lefty shutdown the Yankees. Kid has the best sinker in the entire minors that batters find extremely difficult to square up. He has a 4 seemer he throws in the mid 90s and a plus slider that he just needs to get more consistent with. Can't wait for him to be up with teh O's this year.

Derrek Lee will also be subbed into the game at DH later on to get ABs today

IT will be on ESPN and ESPN3 at 1pm.

Yea Brittin last outing he went three innings and gave up 2 hits the kid is nice. Hopefully its a  afternoon!!!

I actually like Britton. Or at least I don't hate him. Take whichever you choose.

Mitre will probably be going 6 innings today. But at this point of the Spring...they're going to let him go if he's pitching poorly to see how he reacts since that 5 spot is looking more and more like Colon's to lose.

Mark Reynolds has abandoned his experiment with replacing his toe tap with a leg kick. He is going back to the toe tap as his timing mechanism and says he feels more comfortable with the toe tap.

In his last game when he went back to the toe tap he had 2 hits. Hopefully he starts getting a few more hits this spring.

Im going opposite of everyone today. I say they have the lineup in for a reason the reason being the yank's are gonna win. why would they be -120 with orioles lineup lookin as good as it does. cause vegas already knows that there gonna win.

Buck recently did an interview with Men's Journal and had some great quotes.

Showalter, normally a cautious interview, did just that in the April issue of Men’s Journal, speaking his mind about the Yankees and Red Sox.

“The first time we went to Yankee Stadium, I screamed at Derek Jeter from the dugout,” Showalter told the magazine. “Our guys are thinking, ‘Wow, he’s screaming at Derek Jeter.’ Well, he’s always jumping back from balls just off the plate. I know how many calls that team gets – and yes, he [ticks] me off.”

Of the Red Sox, Showalter was even more candid.

“I’d like to see how smart Theo Epstein is with the Tampa Bay payroll,” he said. “You got Carl Crawford ’cause you paid more than anyone else, and that’s what makes you smarter? That’s why I like whipping their butt. It’s great, knowing those guys with the $205 million payroll are saying, ‘How the hell are they beating us?’ ”

The line was Yanks -115 and O's +101 before lineups were even released.

The Yankees are the most heavily bet public team in just about any sport. Their lines are over inflated, most of the time.

I hope Jake gets plenty of time. He can be a very serviceable back up Catcher/3rd/1st and can even play a corner OF spot if it came to that. He can definitely post a 750+ OPS. He has looked like Barry Bonds this spring but that is nothing to get excited about.

Wieters has only played 1.5 years and has similar numbers to people such as Johnny Bench up to this point in their careers. He may never reach what was projected but his floor, the worst he will be, is a league average offensive catcher while providing some of the best defense. Thing is the O's need him to become an .800+ OPS catcher, along with the defense to make them a threat in the future.

Reimold has looked great this spring and I hope they find a way to get him up with the O's this year. Last year was a write off year for him with his achilles injury that he was recovering from and the personal matters that were going on in his life that would cause any human being to not be focused and struggle mentally with the game of baseball.

You guys do realize that the O's haven't won 2 games in a row since March 1st and 2nd. I like them too, but it looks too easy.

I haven't seen the Yankees lineup but it's probably the C-Squad. The vets are probably going back home. I doubt they stick around for a 2nd straight road game.
