I will take the dog with the two time cy young winner at home!  No DH, bigger ball park and giant pitching!

Giants +110 for 2 units

Lee will enjoy that bigger ballpark, too.  People are getting too hung up on the No DH factor. It's not that big of a deal.

Yes he will also!  But Bad Vlad in the outfield is not a very good option...

Haven't you seen the majority win before on?

You're a typical gambler who has this delusional belief that going with the majority is always bad.

IMHO that is never a good way to gamble in the long run. Pretty much on any given play the majority of gamblers will always be on the favorite.

all this talk about vlad is acting like the guy has never played the outfield in his life come on the guy, if anything still has a cannon out there and while hes not the most mobile guy at all, you act like this is slow pitch softball and the giants hitters can aim the ball towards vlad, give me a break its hard enough to hit cliff lee, let alone aim the ball somewhere. The two best offenses in the american league this year saw cliff lee this postseason ask them how that went...and they didnt have an automatic out in the 9 hole....

Well stated, I completely agree.  Texas also has more team speed and can play the NL game if they have to as well.

I never post here but ppl talk about Vlad in the outfield and forget that Pat Burrell is in the outfield for the Giants so just keep that in mind when we start bashing Vlads outfield ability, he was at one time a very good outfielder and im sure he didnt forget how to catch fly balls, meanwhile Burrell has never been and will never be a good outfielder

FWIW, Pat Burrell started 87 games in the outfield committing 2 errors with a .984 fielding percentage. 

Vlad played 17 games in the outfield committing 2 errors with a .933 fielding percentage.

We heard the same thing last week with Oregon.  Sometimes there is just nothing Vegas can do.  I mean Cliff Lee is Cliff Lee.  Even Vegas cannot handicap his dominance!

True.  However, I hear that Lincecum guy is kinda good too.  With all respect to Cliff Lee, I can't believe that everyone is so quick to lay the wood against a 2 time Cy Young in his own park.  Lincecum has an ERA of 1.39 this postseason, not to mention a complete game shutout.  Just my personal opinion, but I would never bet against Lincecum at home, especially when a team has never seen him before.  BOL.

Tim lincecum at home against a good red soxs, but not as good as rangers lineup this year....3 innings 5ERs, theres a stat for a two time cy young award winner in his own ballpark, against the AMERICAN LEAGUE where people can actually hit, i will say see timmy for the first time might be rough, but overall its just like people are trying to get smart here and say well cliff lee might be the greatest postseson pitcher of all time, but if i say giants and am right i am a sharp right???Il put my money in the guy who shuts down the best hitters in the league on a daily basis over in the AL

You have two of the best pitchers in the game going at it and you are concerned about a match up of two outfielders? Wake up, smell the coffee. If there were to be any concern at all I would take Vlady to have the better evening. K.I.S.S. With Lee's 11.5:1 K/BB ratio, he is far less likely to get the opportunity for errors that Burrell will versus Lincecums 3.22:1 ratio and the Rangers far more aggressive offense.

First of all, I am not trying to be sharp.  I just think the Giants will win tonight.  Secondly, you are taking an example of one bad game timmy had out of an entire season of work.  Also you are assuming that Cliff Lee is unhittable and will never lose another game in his life.  The fact of the matter is this:  You have two of the best 3 pitchers in the game (the other being Doc).  In that scenario, I would take the guy who is at home and plus money everytime.  I totally understand why you think opposite, but you are talking like Cliff Lee is superhuman and that Timmy is just some average guy.  BOL.

I had my Giant play in before i checked out covers.  Just thought it was crazy to see the majority on Texas in this situation.  There is so much more value on the Giants in this sitiuation, IMO.

This STATS for this post-season are good, but I watched every one of his starts, and I thought he actually pitched like shit. Okay, that was an exaggeration. I thought that he was missing badly when he failed to hit the strike zone.
