Both managers have already announced their Opening Day lineups.  Barring an injury, these are the lineups.

Here's the lineup for the Yankees and their career against Josh Beckett:

Drastic difference in history.  The first seven in the Red Sox lineup are hitting .186 against Sabathia.  The bottom three in the Yankees lineup is hitting .156 against Josh Beckett.  But in comparison, that means the first six are hitting .298 against him.

Sabathia is typically a slow starter so he may get touched up for 3, 4 runs but I really think the Yankees get to Beckett and possibly right away in the 1st inning.  I like a high scoring game but the Yankees are the world champs.  And as much as I hate them, they're the better team right now.

Because I feel the Yankees are the better team and will win on Sunday - if you play nothing but favorites in baseball, you will not win in the long term.  Playing the Yankees, at plus money, is good against anyone when Sabathia is pitching

That was taken in to consideration and that is why I'm also playing the Over, I think he'll be touched up a bit but I dont think it will be that bad

Josh Johnson is a future cy young winner.  He's a good starter at 3-2 with a 2.91 ERA.  Against the Mets Josh is 7-0 in nine starts with a 2.30 ERA, 1.09 WHIP & .229 Opposing Average. Check out the Met's starting lineup vs Johnson:

C Rod Barajas - 0 for 4, 1 K

2B Luis Castillo - 3 for 9, 2 K

Johan's worst months of the season have always been April & May.  Yes he's still 32-21 with a 3.74 ERA but the rest of the year it's 2.86 so this is where the best value of the year will be found.

I got that wrong, the 6 batters other than Castillo, Bay & Francouer are hitting .118 against Johnson

1:10pm: St. Louis Cardinals at Cincinnati Reds
Chris Carpenter (0-0) vs Aaron Harang (0-0)
Pick: Over 7.5 (-102) for 1 unit

This total is ridiculous.  Chris Carpenter will not throw a shutout on opening Day, he'll still dominate this game but at least 2 runs from Cincy will score.  The flip side is Aaron Harang.  This is the same guy who went 6-10 with a 4.21 ERA last season.  A career 4.54 ERA against the Cards.  The total for this game should be at least 8.5, if not 9.  Large Value here for an Aaron Harang start.

2:05pm: Toronto Blue Jays at Texas Rangers
Shaun Marcum (0-0) vs Scott Feldman (0-0)
Pick: Over 9.5 (+101) for 1 unit

No huge value in the number here but still a great spot for two potential high scoring teams.  Shaun Marcum makes his first MLB start since 2008 as he returns from Tommy John.  The Rangers have seen him for 18.1 innings though, pounding him for a .276 BAA, 1.31 WHIP & 5.89 ERA.  Scott Feldman has a career ERA of 4.58.  Against the Jays he's 0-2 through twenty-two innings, allowing a .329 BAA, 1.68 WHIP & 6.55 ERA!  I smell a homerun fest.

2:10pm: Colorado Rockies at Milwaukee Brewers
Ubaldo Jimenez (0-0) vs Yovani Gallardo (0-0)
Pick: Over 7.5 (+100) for 1 unit

Another ridiculously low total.  Jimenez does not fare well in the month of April.  He's a slow starter.  In ten starts he's 2-5 with a 6.56 ERA, 2.00 WHIP & .292 BAA!  On the flip side we have Gallardo who has trouble with Colorado.  He's 0-2 with a 9.49 ERA, 1.86 WHIP & .314 BAA.  With this total being low, as long as one of these two resort to normal form, this should be quite easy.
