I think I should have gotten a key to the city. I mean Matsui's translator did as well as security. Kate Hudson, Minka Kelly and A-Rod's Sports Psychologist should all get a key to the city and a ring. I'm sure it won't be long until Kate and Minka get rings of their own though.

No way.. had the time of my life yesterday at the parade!!!  Then got wasted in many bars!!! ... I got some great pics!!!  The subway getting downtown was absolutely insane and jammed packed!!!

Hey Bloomberg, it is called an IDEA not an IDEER.  He tries to make fun of Rollins but just sounds like an idiot when he says IDEER instead of IDEA.

Really? THAT is one you get out of the video?

 

Yankee Haters ALWAYS find something wrong. If CC goes out next season...strikes out 27 and gives up 1 hit...he did wrong because he gave up a single.

I didn't watch the video.  I heard the clip on espn radio the other day and it just really stood out when he said IDEER.  You can't tell me he sounds intelligent when he says that word.

No, I would be impressed by that performace but if after the game when they were interviewing him, he said "I are very proud of my performance today" then I would think he sounds pretty dumb.

Speaking of which: I tried to taste that felling--about the last time I posted here!--when I played $100-500 a hand on BJ and $20-100 a pull on slots at my local tribal. Yes, $100 a spin in the high limit section at Spirit Mtn casino in Oregon--after I hit a $5000 10-times jackpot on a Quick Hits dollar machine and then hot BJ table as well.
One for the "grandchildren" ages as they say... (doubt they will ever exist though, being I'm single and 46 yrs-old. How the hell do you think I played $100 a pull?! LOL)
In the end I lost several thousands of dollars ...but the memory of being a "big shot" will live in my memory forever. They can't take that away!
Anyways, wanted to come back and congratulate Sparky, Stevebaily6 and the other Yankee faithful for a season well done.
Ultimatley, I think the A-Rod steroid issue (it gave Alex a newfound determination that he never had before, and a TEAM-oriented mentality as well) and the 3-man SP rotation by Joe Girardi that helped bring the WS championship back to NY.
Congrats guys. 
Thank God I cashed out my chips before I bet on the LAA and the Phils' series bets at +200 and +180, respectively!
WTS, I would still take those odds any day of the week!
