The current Yankees streak is a great case study in betting strategy. Once it got to Sunday, I was then not only betting FOR Lester, but also AGAINST a Series Sweep, and AGAINST the Yankees winning their 7th straight. Lost 0.5 units there, but I kept rolling - now I was going to be betting AGAINST the Yankess streak until the streak eventually came to an end and making some guaranteed money from it.
Here's how that would go: Every game the Yankees played they would be favorites so you are guaranteed the Underdog Premium on the eventual win. Every successive bet is in the amount of total loss up to that game.
So I lost 0.5 units on Sunday, I bet 0.5 tonight for a possible 35% underdog premium. Unfortunately, the streak ended and I won. However, had it not - I would bet 1 unit on the next game, and then 2 units on the next one, 4 units on the next one, etc. etc. ...the streak would come to an end eventually and before I run out of money.
The Nationals are a study in contrast though - they are streaking but are HEAVY underdogs against the Braves on Tuesday. Can't play them the same way.

I went against my rule tonight betting the Astros, but I normally play with the streak orunless a number of hadicapping factors come together.I'll take one chance at ending the streak and if I'm wrong thats the endof trying to picka spot where the streak might end.

The martingale system will fit right in here. Im sure there will be many coming along to tell you how great this is.
Any idea what 2 to the 8th power is? Any idea when you will hit a books limit on this bet, or even your own bankroll limit.
Keep at it junior. Let us know how this goes.
