It was a brutal cancellation of yesterday's Milw/Det
total of OVER 10 with 14 runs scored in less than 7 innings and the game gets
called for rain and the bet was therefore cancelled. That's the 2nd time this
season that has happened to me. Arizona with a 3-0 8th inning lead and then
subsequent meltdown and loss didn't add to the festive mood
either.

Game...what do you know about this Figaro guy? Bush has been horrible of late. Thanks and BOL
12 games of experience above Single A level....4.10 ERA in Double A and the beneficiary of a .258 BABIP. In 4 of 11 Double A starts, he allowed 5 runs or more. Doesn't look like a good spot for him today.

If you have a minute. Curious to hear your thoughts on Rays/Mets.
Do you think Santana is not right? Is this a line movement play?
I don;t bet line movements. In Santana's last 6 startsm he has tossed 36 innings and allowed 45 hits, 29 runs (7.25 runs allowed per 9) with 9 HR's allowed. Even the Mets' announcer was stating that something was definitely wrong and off with him lately.
Santana, under the supervision of pitching coach Dan Warthen,
apparently figured out his mechanical issues during Wednesday's bullpen
session at Camden Yards, the NY Newsday's Mets blog reports. "He was
catapulting the ball instead of throwing it," said Warthen, who
demonstrated what he meant with a more overhand delivery. "He's didn't
have that same deception he usually has." Neither Warthen nor Santana knows exactly why the Mets' ace developed
that subtle change, but they feel confident it was corrected Wednesday.
Warthen said he could tell that Santana was throwing with more velocity
and his location with the fastball was significantly better. The real
test will come in a game, but if true, then the speculation about
blisters, a sore back or knee problems causing Santana's recent
struggles goes out the window.
Not sure I buy all that.

Arizona why do u like them? To lead all game and blow it in the 8th. 1st 5 might be the better way to go there.
Buckner's two road starts have been awesome. Vargas has begun to regress. I like the fact that the Dbacks had a tough loss last night. The Mariners have not been hitting much of late. Line is too high.
