Pittsburgh is now 9-20 in last 29 road contests and they are sending Morton on the mound. The guy pitched 1 inning in the majors this season and is comming off of an injury. Hammel is 1 of only 5 Colorado starters this season with significient number of starts and he has the best K/BB ratio of them all. In his first 3 starts his era was 6.75. Colorado lost 4 of his first 5 starts. But he has been on fire lately with 2.45 era in last 3 starts and 4-0 record in last 5 starts while his team won all 5 of them. Colorado is 14-1 in last 15 and they are scoring over 6 runs per game during the streak. Take away De La Rosa's 6 home starts this season (only lefty, colorado is 0-6 in his 6 home starts this season) and Colorado is 15-9 at home ytd winning last 8.
Florida -106
Burnett beat Santana last time out. So what ? Johnson beat Santana twice already this season. It is hard to find a more consistent pitcher than Johnson since the start of the 2008. Only two bad starts in last 28 for him. Florida is 22-6 during that time. Florida stil won in both of his bad starts since last season. Actually, Florida is 3-0 when he allowed 4+ earned runs. They love this guy and play hard for him, whenever he is on the mound.Burnett's road era is over 5. He is facing his former club. Last time he faced one of his former clubs he lost in Toronto allowing 5 earned runs.

What's the difference between Detwiler and all other Washington starters ? Well, I don't think there is any. All Washington starters played well in more than half of their starts but the problem is, they didn't believe in winning, and were not supported by the offense. Well, now after winning three in a row and being competitive against good opposition for the past 10 days, the confidence is suddenly there for them. Once again today they face one of the most inconsistent offenses and teams in general in the majors. To make the things even worst, the Jays are sending Cecil on the mound and the guy has been away for a month, ever since he got rocked for 8 runs in 4+ innings in Boston. Detwiler's home era is very respectable and despite not winning a single game ytd hes been able to keep the Nats in the game in every start he has made. Nats will win another one. You better believe it.
pod #4 Minnesota -186
The Twins just keep on pounding the NL and their record in home interleague games is now 28-6 since the begining of the 2006. Scott Baker is about to turn his season around with 3 great starts in a row. His era during that streak is 2.86, and his whip stands at 0.77. In his last 5 starts he recorded 33 strikeouts and only 2 walks. No home runs allowed in last two starts and only 8 home runs allowed in last 10 starts which is a huge improvement for him after allowing 7 home runs in his first two starts. The Astros are struggling against AL, especially if first two games of any interleague series and they lost 16 of last 19 in this spot and all of them this season. I like Moehler but his recent era of over 7 and whip of over 1.70 makes me think that he will be just another Twins Interleague victim.
pod #5 San Francisco -156
The Giants are 9-1 against Texas in last 10 meetings. Texas bats are really inconsistent now and very often missing in action. The best they have done in last 10 games is .289 once against Houston. They are just a 500 team on the road but 0-9 (0-17 in last 17 going back to last season) when allowing 6+runs on the road. San Francisco is giving just over 6 runs of support per home start to Cain and with Holland's era of 7.98 in last three starts, everything points out to a good hitting performance for the Giants who have their ace on the mound. Cain is 9-1 on the season, his era is 2.39 and SF won his last 8 starts. The opposing bullpens surrended just 1 er in 32+ innings pitched against Texas recently. Looks like, if Texas fails to hit the starter well, there is very little chance they'll hit the bullpen.

i've been hot and i feel good about it. thats why i will add one more play. wish me luck, as i haven't had 6 pod plays in one day this season.
pod #6 Baltimore +2.5 -240
Juicy, I know, but I feel more confortable when I take a runline with my dog when in a hitters friendly park. Baltimore is seeing the ball extremely well now. 5 wins in last 6 matches, hitting .324 or better in 5 of last 7 games, and scoring almost 7 runs per game in last 6 games. They are sending Bergesen on the field, a ground ball pitcher (which is good thing to do in a home run ballpark) who allowed only 6 earned runs in last 4 starts (32 innings pitched). They'll face a struggling Philly team on a 4 game losing streak that also lost 6 of last 7. The Phillies are actually 4-9 in last 13 with two of their 4 wins comming in extra innings. They were .231 or worst in 6 of last 9 and they are sending a flyball pitcher on the mound today. Happ is 4-0 on the season but his home era is 5.24 and he is allowing home runs much more often at home. Since becoming a starter (6 games) he has pitched for almost as many innings as all of last season. He had 106 pitches or more in last 3 starts and averages over 105 pitches thrown in last 4 starts. Too much for a guy who is not a real starter and it is starting to show up. WHIP over 2 in last two starts, 10 walks and only 7 strikeouts and 5 home runs allowed.

i wouldnt lay that much juice with colorado, lets not forget, Hammel has a home era of 7, with no quality starts in 6 games and Morton have very impressive numbers in triple A.
I m on board with u on Baltimore +150 for the value. I dont like the Washington pick bc Toronto murders lefthanders but gl.

76% will get you about even $ w/ the chalk you play. e.g. nyy-310, balt -240.
Records in MLB are useless. ask benjamin lee eckstein. he takes the biggest fav in NY daily news, then posts his "winning" record. The fact that he loses $ overall seems to be no problem.
