Oakland +110 - 1 Unit: Padilla has a career 4.55 ERA vs Oak and sports a 8.27 ERA with a 1.84 WHIP on the Year. He's given up at least 7 hits and 4ER in 3 of his 4 starts this year against a lower level of competition (ie KC, BAL x2, & CLE) than he will face from the A's today. Braden on the other hand is sporting a 2.52 ERA on the Season (@LAA & @TOR + vs BOS & TB) and looking quite sharp. Take the +110 and back the better starter today.
TOR/KC Over 9.5 (-115) - 1 Unit: With these 2 pitchers going today they could be playing in a swamp and I would still expect the score to end up 8-7 one way or another. Davies comes in sporting a 4.88 ERA while giving up a mealsy 7ER his last time out vs DET while Burres was SOOO much better last time @ CHW giving up a paltry 6ER with a beautiful little 12.46 ERA on the year!! Both bullpens are better than their respective starters, but if they have to come in in the 4th, that won't matter. If the weather holds off and this game is played (looking at the radar, it looks to be moved out by gametime unless they postpone it before then) expect the total to be well above 9.5.
I will look over tonights plays later and post in the same thread. Since this is my first picks post, I'd welcome any feedback any of you have. I've been on this site for a while now and just decided to start posting, there are some good handicappers on here. I hope I can be of some help too.
