Posted this thread last year and thought there was good value on the Jays at +3300, thought pitching would carry them and bats would be good enough. Still say there was but the bats were a colossal disappointment, especially in the clutch of close games. Find it funny a team with easily the best pitching staff in the majors can't even make the playoffs...........on to 2009 and a couple teams I see some nice value on:

Fuck, what a jerkoff I am.  I just accidentally erased a post about a mile long.
 
Ok, the short version.....
 
Cubs +1,000 and Arizona +2,400 looks great.  I think both teams are absolutely stacked and sleepwalk through their divisions. 
 
You mentioned the Marlins and the Twins.  I love both those squads, but I would personally go with division props or over bets with them.  I would hate for the Marlins to fight their way through a summerlong battle against the Mets and Phillies, just to gum it up in the playoffs.  The Twins have a great shot to win the Central, but I don't think they can hang in the AL playoffs though.
 
Take a good look at the Royals.  Is this a .500 team or is it just me?  I see a decent squad as long as a few key guys step up. 
 
I think the Giants are butt.  There seems to be a lot of chatter of this squad being a dark horse, but I'm not too sure. 
 
Reds are intriguing, but may be a year or two away.  One thing I like is their bullpen.  To the naked eye, they are a group of no names, but that group of ragtag schmos just may be the strength of this team.
