The only reason Zinc is starting is out of desporation. Wakefield on the DL. They said this kid has earned his shot to start. Or coarse, What the hell are they gonna say. I think Texas will welcome him to the big leagues with big bats.

What a way to make your major league debut, against a team that has one of he highest batting averages in the American League, if not the highest. This kid should get punded by the Rangers, one of my plays tonight is the over, I think the Sawks will score a few runs also. Good Luck Buddy...||clover.gif' border=0>

Going to disagree with all of you, NOT because I am a huge Red Sox fan but BECAUSE I think you do not have all the info. 1st of all, Masterson COULD have started. Zinc is 13-4 with an ERA under 3 at Pawtucket and has earned this shot. Yes he did pitch Friday BUT he is a knuckleballer and standard rest need not apply. Also, he has an above average fastball and curve...for a guy that throws the knuckler. 2nd, like most teams, Texas is going to have trouble with the knuckler. They can hit the shit out of regular pitches. 3rd, the BoSox are coming off a rather successful road trip for a change. While they easily could have gotten 3 out of 4 in Chicago, they could have easily gotten swept as well. That being said this is a HUGE homestand for them with 6 games they have a good chance of winning, then a trip to Baltimore whom they SHOULD handle IF Francona can leave Okajima on the bench. Don't be fooled, Red Sox win this one 8-4

Believe it or not I don't feel this game is totally out of grasp. You can never have enough insurance anainst this Texas Offence.
