according to https://twitter.com/LouisJean_TVA According to source, Alain Vigneault has agreed to 5-year deal w/ #Rangers. Told it's in the $2 Million per year range. #NHL. also Told Vigneault made $1.8 Million with the #Canucks.

could be "premature speculation" on Streit. https://www.csnphilly.com/hockey-philadelphia-flyers/report-flyers-agree-4-year-deal-mark-streit basically says "YES we will SIGN him BUT there is a Salary Cap problem"

Recycled coaches and managers in all sports

Just last week in the NBA Maurice Cheeks got a job to coach the Pistons.

The guy was a coach twice before with Philly and Portland.

He failed big time....Got fired by both clubs in season and he gets another job.

Same with Larry Drew...The Hawks fire him and 5 days later the Bucks hire him.

My point is....NEW BLOOD....Why keep hiring these guys after being FIRED....There are assistants on every bench in all sports give one of them a chance.

Alain Vigneault fired and rehired. ...He was fired for a reason.

WAY too much money for a goalie who is probably at best a backup anymore
