being a Hawks fan , I had a gut feeling they would lose before reaching the Cup . Great record during this half season , but why the trouble with the Wings ??? I've not watched any of the Hawks games , because I get too pissed when they lose . Can they turn this baby around ?? Do we need bigger wings ?? We need some guys who can be scoring threats every time on the ice, with size. Whenever I have watched the Hawks they look small wing wise ??

one thing no one has pointed out (ex for Papa Ratte during the Red Wings vs Ducks series) is that BOTH Anaheim AND Chicago basically "cruised" thru the regular season and the Bhawks the 1st round against a Wild team without their "top stopper" goalie. the Ducks esp seemed to "lose their edge" the last third of the season while the Red Wings have been playing "playoff hockey" since March. Blackhawks, exen moreso than the Ducks, "tore it up" early not losing a game in regulation until March 8th and never had to "sweat" the playoffs end of the season.
Pavel Datsyuk, Henrik Zetterberg and Johan Franzen have "been there before" and know how to win in the playoffs AND right now Jimmy Howard is better in goal than Corey Crawford. I would not be the least bit suprised IF Detroit went back to Chicago for game 5 up 3-1 in the series.
