Aside from home ice advantage BOS has nothing for the NYR
Even still, the Bruins aren't world beaters at home either

NYR are turning it up
NYR have the best goalie in the NHL who can single handedly decide the outcome of a game
NYR top players are starting to heat up
Beating a skilled WAS team > "Hail Mary" win over an inferior team in game 7 no less!
NYR have better depth

BOS defense = suspect
Lucic/Marchand/Seguin are ice cold
BOS has inferior goaltending

Bruins are not winning this game tonight. As close to Free Money as you can get.

I like the Rangers in this series but they can be just as guilty of the sense of urgency thing. With Boston losing Ryder/Wheeler and then having Ference and Redden out of the line-up ain't helping. Rangers have to take advantage of this team not being 100%. If they lose G1 isn't a death sentence but if they lose both in Boston it won't be good. But I'll be pulling for NY.....

Lucic Ice cold? He tore up the first round.
Bergy ice cold? He scored the game tying and game winning goal in GM 7
Rangers stars heating up? Nash didn't have a goal in the first round!!
If the Bruins decide to show up the Rangers will have all they can handle. Expect 6-7 games of low scoring prob 1 goal games. A bounce here and a bounce there this one goes either way. Two evenly matched teams with a similar style. Whole world is on NYR tonight. The Bruins are favored for a reason!! Good Luck!!

Sorry, but any team other than Toronto wouldn't have given the Bruins their free ticket to round 2.

Art, Art my man, you're most definitely on the wrong side of the street for this game one outcome. Boston is a guaranteed LOCK to win tonight at home to grab a 1-0 series lead in their best-of-seven series against the Strangers.

I'm thinking Richards and Pyatt are under the radar. With Boston missing Seidenberg/Ference/Redden should give some room for the 3-4 line tonight. Surprised this isn't a 4 1/2 o/u line, Henry has that .94 sv% which will have to average out sometime. (along with Quicks .95 sv%) does anyone else like the over tonite?

some people are just ridiculous, the leafs are not a cupcake team and washington was nothing special just the typical choking dump they always are.

i think this is a lengthy series, but im sick of people saying the bruins limped in to round 2 as though it was a joke that it took them 7 to beat a well-rounded leafs team, who some are making seem like they were the panthers
