Huge hockey fan, had a fairly profitable season but haven't really had time to post plays due to law school but will post for the NHL playoffs.
All plays today are to win 1 unit.
Blackhawks/Wild o5 (-102)
I think the Wild come out strong here trying to open up the scoring and trying to show they are not the overmatched team that they really are. I think they may get one early, but the Hawks have too much firepower against their defense. Wild should get at least 2 goals which will be enough to at least get a push.
Blues ML -116
Revenge game here from last year's second round exit handed to them by the Kings. They were embarrassed and are determined not to let that happen again. Stingy defense + great goaltender will be key to the Blues win.
Wings ML +124
Riding the hot team here. Wings played really good hockey down the stretch and Howard is at the top of his game right now. A hot goaltender makes all the difference in the playoffs and I'll take the hot one while I can. Zetterberg and Datysuk have been doing their part as well and I expect that to continue against the Ducks.

Bruins 1st period -150, think the Bruins will come out strong after their sloppy play down the stretch costing them the Division.
Islanders ML +189
I'll ride with the young exciting team who have been waiting for their playoff moment for years now. No Crosby and no chemistry with the Pens with their injuries down the stretch could allow the Isles to win this game. If they get to Fleury early, they should win this game.
Nucks ML -144
Was there a bgger disappointment than the Nucks last year in the postseason? Won't happen this year as the Nucks will come out and play with grit and determination and win this game.

No Crosby and no chemistry down the stretch? Going 8-2 in their last 10 hardly qualifies as having no chemistry, especially since the two losses came after they clinched #1 seed. And as far as Crosby, he hasn't played in a month.
I respect your pick on the Isles, its just your reasoning leaves a lot to be desired
