at +310 anyone joining? this team has dominated in all categorys in the regular season other than Chicago having a chance at them who else is going to get in there way they are loaded up only problem i could see is fluery or vokoun to carry the load but i think they can score enough goals and stay healthy to go for a good run last year was a disappointment for fluery flyers just wanted it more but this year i really feel that they are going to really push it especially with iginla getting a chance at the cup what do you guys think?

Isn't the worst bet but calling the champ of the NHL is tough to do, it's essentially a 4 round parlay in which many thing can go wrong.

First, the health of Crosby is never safe and that is a huge deal.  These guys are good without him, but not Oilers good then they lost Gretzky.  If he is out for any time, you might see a quick exit.

Second, I find their D suspect, Letang and Martin do well, but the drop of from there is steep. And their goaltending doesnt appear as strong as it has been in the past.  Fleury was 26th in g.a.a and even worse in save %. Vocouns numbers were similar. 

When Pittsburgh lost to the Flyers last year it was a battle of high scoring games, this cannot happen this year or they wont get out of the East.  The year before that a kid named Subban absolutely shadowed him and got into his face and into his head; and it worked.  I saw frustration in Crosby's game for the first time and it appeared to be something attempted by committee last year with the Flyers.  If this is an achiles heel of a young, firey Crosby, than teams will focus on it.

They have the best PP in the game which means they are great if teams play undisciplined, but it isn't guaranteed, especially in the playoffs. 

I think people will be surprised at Ottawa's abilities in the East.  They could really be a darkhorse here.

I really like this makeup of this pens team If they get the kid back & can stay away from the injury bug i do see them having a deep playoff run this spring.

good info johnny. there D might not be strong enough even adding murray into the fold . but i think they will be able to score enough goals to beat most teams versus letting in goals. as for ottawa they do look good karlsson back now there goal tending is good with anderson in net they got a heck of  a deal by trading bishop for conacher i think he will help them good young upcoming player and might be alferdessons last year they might have a jump in them against montreal

As much as I hate the pens I can't see anyone beating them in a 7 game series. I took them at +300, 150 to win 450. Might put more on them also

Islanders vs Penguins 1st round. I'm a Penguins far and STILL have nightmares about 1993. the "Mario Penguins" back then were even BETTER than this squad (esp without Sid) and that Islanders team didn't have the talent this one has.

AND WHICH Marc-Andre Fleury SHOWS UP? "The Flower That Blooms in the Spring" OR " That's Not a Flower. That's a Little Skunk" (like last year against Philadelphia)?
