Flyers went exactly as I expected. Glad bryz finally came to play. Hopefully they can build off this big win. Congrats to anyone who tailed. Anyway looking at Thursday here's what I'm looking at, though still waiting on lines.


Leans for Thursday: Flames/Avs 1st Period Over 1.5
Flames/Avs Over?
Stars TT Over 2.5/3 hoping it opens at 2.5 
Leafs TT over 2.5
Jets to Score 1st
Bruins/Sens Under 5
Coyotes/Wild 1p under 1.5
Pens 1p ML

These are all just leans! Now its time to look into them all and wait for lines.
If Dallas TT opens at 2.5, get on it right away as I'm sure itll hit 3

CJJ the Flyers have been hoping to build off intermittent wins for the past while. They had a big win in Pissburgh a week ago and we had hoped they might build off that victory but they lost the very next night at home to Florida. Then they beat Winnipeg but followed that up with a loss to the Leaves. So to say lets hope they can build off last night's win might be a little premature. Lets hope they win their next won, maybe a third and then we have grounds to hope they build off those victories. As for Bryz, I've said it a few times and again I'll say the guy has been the Flyers best player todate this season for what it's worth. Bol.

Pinball- i agree with you, though until last night I haven't liked what i've seen from bryz at all. Though when bryz is confident and on his A-game this is an entirely different team. Also, aquiring the veteran gagne may be exactly what this team needs from a leadership perspective.

                     Islanders/Leafs Over 1.5 2nd Period

Very large card today which I really don't like to do but I can't resist.


Some stats to consider: Dallas has scored 3+ goals in 11 straight games. I don't see Edmonton ending this streak. Dallas TT Over 2.5 is the play, I love this one the most.

Islanders/Leafs Over 1.5 2nd period- Islanders rank 1st in the NHL with 25 2nd period goals, Leafs rank 10th with 20.

Pens 1st Period ML- a pure fade of Carolina in the 1st period, as they rank last in the league with only 7 first period goals. Pittsburg ranks 2nd with 23. I see this as at worst a push. 

Have to go out, hopefully can find some time to do some brief writeups for the other plays before gametime.

Wild Under 5 and Wild 1st Period Under- Wild have fewest 1st period goals in the NHL (7) tied with carolina, and phoenix ranks 20th with only 11. Both teams rank in middle of pack in giving up 1st period goals. I think this is a 3-1 game 

Senators TT Under 2.5: The bruins have given up less than 3 goals for 4 games straight. Now i know that there opponents haven't all that great, but I really think Boston opens up this homestand with a bang. Ottawa's offense isn't much of a threat, which made me lean under, but I wouldn't be surprised if Boston put up 4 goals on their own tonight at home.

Love the Pitt 1st period play. Made a ml and a -.5 bet at +165. Also wanted to bet the 1st period wild but a lot of juice in that one Gl.
