Wild were really good until injuries hit and they have good young players too...they should be an interesting team to watch

I remember that early season dog run  "The Yoemen" had last of October thru mid December where they went 17-4 and had 5, 5 & 7 game win streaks. they were printing money because they were the dog most every game. BUT then the injuries hit, esp to Mikko Koivu, Bouchard and Latendresse, they came completely unstuck.

I will be interested to see how much that opening Wild Western Conference 100-1 and Stanley Cup 200-1 changes @ LVH superbook. sighning BOTH Parise AND Suter should cause some "buzz"

It is too much money and for too long, but MN has Granlund, Coyle, Brodin, Zucker, Phillips, Larsson, etc., etc. on the horizon.....a ton of young talent.  They honestly can be good for 10 years.  They have 3 big contracts.....what good team doesn't?

...

top ticket prices last season: $225, $95, $85...

season ticket rates in '11-'12 were kept at 2010-11 levels...

i suspect that might change...

from a competitive standpoint im glad that these two players took "less money" but im wondering how much the market can bear...of course norm green, the man who moved the north stars to dallas, said only an idiot could lose money on hockey in minnesota...

the nhl remains primarily a gate-driven league ... contracts such as these are yet another body-blow to the average puck fan who bleeds loyalty for a team but can't afford to attend a game...

parise, suter, heatley makin some serious cabbage

Quick just got $100M.  Crosby as well.  It's the way of the NHL world right now. They actually took less money.  People are pissing and moaning because it's not NY or Pitt or Philly.
