 Holy Carp... Yesterday was just brutal since I refused to listen to my gut... I had a feeling about yesterday but did not listen to my gut and then I read too much into the games going even further away from my gut feelings... today I'm just gonna go with it and mix up some parlays... then mix up some parlays with what my head tells me... then some with what my heart tells me... and finally... I'll post some parlay played by me today (as usual)...
F^CK... One of them has to be right... Ya Think...???
This is what my gut tells me...
CGY over DAL and Under 5 (Teams will split this H&H by winning at each others rink)
MIN over BUF and Under 5 (Something is lurking in the Wild - Beware all you Buffalo's)
NYR over TOR and Under 5.5 (Rags brush off loss to Buff's and crush Leafs 5-0)
PIT over OTT and Over 5.5 (Very little dout about Pens here... but just a small whisper in the back of my mind trying to decieve me into taking OTT... Go Back To Hell little whisper)
PHI over MON and Under 5.5 (will be close but Philly pulls it out in the end)
NYI over TB and Over 5.5 (TB just not interested and Isles are frisky and with a better goalie)
CAR over DET (mixed gut feeling pulling towards CAR more than DET)
NAS over WIN and Over 5.5 (The Russians actually play well today and Jets comeback try falls short this time)
LA over BOS and Under 5 (Another big game in LA with low scoring and a Kings win over BOS again - less BOS urgency after Sens lose again earlier)
VAN over COL and Under 5 (Just a few goals with VAN winning in OT)
PHX over SJ and Over 5 (SJ AGAIN does oppo of what is expected from them... this time they lose)

DAL over CGY - (because Flames have sucked and Stars are better... but wait.. there's more... CGY is 0-4 last 4 and DAL is 1-3 in L-4... but CGY earned 3 points and DAL only 2 points in those games...Hmmmmmm... This is going to go into Overtme and Dallas is sure to pull it out in the end... Right...???)
BUF over MIN - (because BUF just won at NYR in a blowout yesterday right...??? And who follows the Wild anyway... Right...??? Wild suck right...??? Because BUF is a huge favorite there's no way they lose here... Right...???)
NYR over TOR - (The Leafs were lucky to somehow win at NJ yesterday... and Rags beat the snot outta NJ recently so the Rags are gonna beat the snot outta TOR and make up for losing to BUF at home yesterday.)
PIT over OTT - (How in the world could these Red Hot Pens possibly lose this game vs an OTT team that has been playing dysfunctional hockey... and now can't stop the mighty Habs from ripping goals at will past the Sens goalie tandem...??? Sounds like easy money... Right...??? Getting a fair price for a much better team in this one.)
NYI over TB - (The Isles are actually the better team right now and have a much better goalie going for them in this game... even if it's Chico Resch or Billy Smith coming from the Senior Farm.)
DET over CAR - (Canes playoff dreams ended when they imploded yesterday vs the worst team in the NHL at Columbus... and THESE ARE THE WINGS BABY... They WILL right the ship today and stop this losing streak by winning at home vs a team on the back end of a B2B that got whooped yesterday...Right...???)
WIN over NAS - (Because the Jets MUST win this one and Nashville has looked bad recently... afterall, the Jets just came back from 0-3 at WAS and won in OT yesterday. Jets can do this and at a great price... right...???)
LA over BOS - (Bruins not completely right just yet and Kings are on fire vs a team they have had much recent succes against. This is a must win home game for LA with everything on the line for them... and BOS will play with less urgency after seeing OTT lose AGAIN earlier today...Right...???)
COL over VAN - (This is a must win for COL and looks like Luongo is gonna start this one... Av's will find a way because they need it much more than VAN... Right...???)
SJ over PHX - (Because the Sharks have finally woke up and are desperate to win this home game vs a team they are trying to beat out for one of the few playoff spots that remain... So the Sharks will win because they are favorites here... Right...???)
These would be the normal perceptions... but they are just that... perceptions... ONLY.

PHI over MON - Flyers are gonna win big here
.This is What My Heart wants to have happen...
CGY over DAL - Helps Kings and I dislike Everything Dallas
MIN over BUF - Just because it's there and NO One thinks the Wild have a chance in this one.
NYR over TOR - Don't wanna see Pens get 1st place.
PIT over OTT - Because OTT does NOT deserve to be in the playoffs with the way they go into slumps.
NYI over TB - Like Isles more than TB as a team to watch on TV.
CAR at DET - I really don't care about either team especially after the Canes loss yesterday.
PHI over MON - C'mon Flyers... be on MY SIDE for a change...!!!
WIN over NAS - Would like Jets to make playoffs if possible.
LA over BOS - My West Coast Team since the 70's... Go Kings!!!
PHX over SJ - Screw San Jose... They are going nowhere so please DO NOT make the playoffs. |
