Todd Richards says they were all given a "maintenance day".

FWIW, I'm hearing that the 5 teams he's willing to waive his no-trade clause for are the Bruins, Rangers, Leafs, Sharks and Kings.

Miller for Kane

I wouldn't be too happy to hear of this if I were a Chicago fan. Although Chicago desperately needs a goalie, I feel there are much better ways to resolve this issue then to give up one of your best players. Package a couple of prospects/draft picks and grab either Miller or someone else. Giving up Kane would be a decision I don't think many Blackhawk fans would support. Then again, who am I to talk, I'm a Leafs fan.

is that local Michigan media? I know that the Miller family is big @ Michigan State.

that trade would actually make sense to me. when the Blackhawks were making "cap cuts" the summer of 2010, I thought it a mistake to ship Byfuglien and many of their best "support" players and retain Kane who to me is an overpriced  "one trick pony"

IF Kane goes to Buffalo, he can pair with Nathen "The Gerble" Gerbe on the smallest line in the NHL.

I think that Nabokov (Isles) or Backstrom (Wild) goes to the Hawks. Although the D is almost as much to blame.  Hawks could go the route of trying to get Zidlicky (Wild)

The Rangers should push hard for nash.

Boston should push hard for Ruutu (Canes)

think it depends on WHAT the Rangers would have to give up. the way Torts has them playing right now, I doubt he wants to "screw with his lineup". IF it's a couple of "fringe players", then YES. if it's players like Dubinsky, Anisimov or even Brandon Prust, then NO.
