Remembrance Day Regards to all of Canada's War dead/wounded FROM 1914-18 EUROPE, 1939-45 EUROPE/ASIA, 1950-53 KOREA, and all veterans of modern conflict since
I am doing some parlaying these days for the purposes of experimentation. I will use my space to track it while using the contest to track the plays straight up. So, I played one and won at +270 the other day (Lippsman's thread) and lost one for one unit also. Thus, I am +170 going into tonight. Here is my 3-teamer tonight:
PARLAY RECORD: 1-1 +170
WINGS U5.5 x PENS U5.5 x RAGS U5.5 +412

I was in a no frills store picking up some groceries today at 11am and a guy came over the loudspeaker and asked that everyone stopped what they were doing and stood still for a minute out of respect, which I found very cool. Well there I stood in front of the steaks paying my requested respect and had to watch as 2 other people stopped and about a hundred others just kept on moving and yammering away in the busy store as they shrugged off the announcement.
Mcdonalds has outlawed their employees from wearing the Poppy as they say the pin represents a danger as a weapon.
It's a sad state of affairs cap.
Goodluck with your plays tonight buddy
I hate hearing that kind of shit cuz it just heightens my sadness but thanks for sharing all the same. Guys of our generation (most I hope) just seem to "get it" but can't say that for the youngens and people who don't share our common experience as Canadians who were raised here... I am more forgiving of newcomers than the pukes who were born in the world's best country and take their freedoms completely fucking for granted.
