Opening weeks dog strategy

Question

As I do every year I will be taking dogs of +130 the first two or three weeks of the season. But this year I'm cutting the bottom feeders very fast. Once a team hits 0-3 they are not played anymore. If they win a game or two they will be put back on the list. There is usually one team every year that just cuts a few units off the bottom line here. Looking forward to stop that.

Lipps - I tracked the NHL last season and noticed that the road teams won straight up at a substantial rate though don&#x27;t have an exact %.  Has this been your experience over the years and do the statistics support this angle?

&#xD;&#xA;In the major sports, home advantage is the lowest in pucks. Year after year you almost always see home a very slight advantage for the home teams.  Look for live road dogs or road favs.  Cap the game first but keep those two trends in your back pocket when you are on the fence about a game.
