whats up fellas..glad the hockey is finally here..this forum was great all year..alot of great cappers in here and not alot of bullshit..lets keep it that way..

as of right now im leaning..

flyers - looking for the cup hangover on opening night..flyers got their asses handed to them by the bruins in the playoffs..but they added an outstanding goalie and despite losing richards and carter..this team still has talent on every line..

habs - from what ive seen reimer looks like shit..and habs always play well as a dog..

nucks - i know no kessler..but IMO this team has been waiting all year to kick ass again..and they will be playng with a chip on their shoulder opening night..

 

any thoughts on these leans?

There's some value on the ML at +129 (currently at Pinnacle). Some of the Flyers' so-called "party players" have moved on. With Pronger back and signing Simmonds, Bryzgalov and Jagr, I think the Flyers can start the season fast, and hopefully the Bruins are still hungover from their Cup win. Not crazy about the Flyers' depth on 3rd and 4th lines, but I like their top 6, defense, and goalie. Leaning Philly.

Also Leaning Habs. I rarely bet against Price. The guy has sunk too many of my bets for me to go against him. Not much of an angle, but it's a rule that's served me well.

Leaning Canucks, but I will layoff this game.

GL, hitter! It's going to be a great season. Hey, you got any futures going for NHL? Thinking about laying a few bucks on a Cup winner or something. Thanks!

I don't think Bruins lose here.  Philly has a tremendous team but their top 6 haven't played together enough to go against a core that the Bruins have.  The Bruins will really want this game and they didn't raise the trophy in Boston so I think they really want this one for the fans.  Philly had a big lineup overhaul so I don't think revenge from last year is a huge issue.

I think the Canucks come out focused seeing how they don't play again in another week.  Can't see them playing like shit after all that happened in Game 7, but I don't know if I wanna lay -160 against a tough club in Pitt.

the more i look at habs leafs game..i think im going to jump of the habs ship and go leafs..leafs def actaully looks pretty good..reimer has struggled in preseason..but i liked him last year.hes got a lot of talent.
