according to the ESPN game summary "Mason began the second period in goal for Atlanta after Pavelec left with an undisclosed injury."

looks like "another massive bird kill in the southern US" for Atlanta. they have been, to quote a southern US phrase, "going down like a turkey turd from a tall pine tree"
