after the US beat Canada a week ago, i posted a thread w/this title that mysteriously disappeared into the covers black-hole (i'm guessing covers is run by Canadians?). i was basically pointing out the lack of credit the canadian fans were giving the US for the beating the yanks gave them. however, now that canada has won the gold, let me congratulate canada and say that (despite the close nature of the game) they were the better/more talented team, and they deserve that gold. congrats to all you northerners, and enjoy this one for the next 4 years.

The Beating the Yanks Gave Them??..what planet are you from?...the yanks were outshot and out chanced...Miller stole that game from Canada...5-3 with an empty net does not constitute the beating you are suggesting...besides, the Canadians won the Game that counted LMAO....Gold is such a nicer color anyways lol

Oh for fuck sakes Skanless1, give it a royal rest! First off, don't call a 5-3 loss in a meaningless fucking game a beating because it's the furthest thing from it---case #1 closed!
Next, it's over and done with so whether the people here at Covers are Canadian or American, it doesn't matter one little bit. The fact of the matter is Canada is #1 when it comes to hockey and Gold and it doesn't matter who's running the show here at this location or any other for that matter---case #2 closed!
Finally, it's quite obvious that you're having a very difficult time dealing with the fact the Canada defeated the U.S. to claim Gold again or you wouldn't be posting a thread pertaining to the game/loss two days after the fact.
So my advice to you is to simply get hold of a tape of the game (if you don't already have one) and play the Crosby goal over and over and over and over again until you're competely fucking drained and simply are no longer able to talk about the game or loss any longer.
Actually now that I think of it, you could then get hold of a copy of the Canadian women's team knocking off the U.S. womens team to win Gold as well, that is if you're still inclined to cry and complain after wearing out the mens game tape.
