Toronto is a quality team with Kessel and Toskala playing well. Their D under achieved Big time to start, with time comes what is to be expected. I think Toronto is a bet on team rest of the way. Burke isn't an idiot, he just looked like one early.

I will go as far to say that Toronto will be fighting to be in the playoffs.  I think Clepto nailed it though.

Well the 6th maybe 7th place finish.  Not the team to bet on though.

I dunno... they might seriously contend for one of the last playoff spots, but will have absolutely ZERO chance at going to the semi's or later.

I doubt they aren't playing for their lives last week of the season but you must admit their Offense can  look like a complete juggernaut at times. Stajan, Kessel, and Hagman are sick. No doubt about it. Khadri on the way, Burke smelling like roses all of a sudden. Even played the homosexual son card to a T. Whatever that means?

Toronto and Montreal will be fighting for a playoff spot come March.

Though I would love for them to meet in the playoffs at some point in time.

LMFAO  There must be some broken ankles with everybody jumping on & off Burke's & the Leafs bandwagon. Somebody in this thread said 6th in the East IMO they'll be fighting tooth and nail for 8th spot and that might be a very big stretch. No disrespect Leaf fans  but I think next year is more realistic.

A few solid games and now this team is being projected#6 and/or make the playoffs!? Sheesh.

Still don't have a #1 goaltender.  Funny how everyone was ready to hang Toskala, and now they want him as the starter.

Please don't ever refer to Matt Stajan as "sick". 

And nobody can say anything about the Kessel trade or Burke in that regard because you still don't know what's going the other way.

Leafs have a bubble of confidence right now, just wait until it gets popped.

Zero percent chance they make the playoffs.
